Button Up New Hampshire

Workshops are conducted by qualified home energy experts who will introduce participants to the basics of home energy usage and the value of home weatherization. Each workshop will include information on how simple household adjustments and modest investments can lead to significant energy savings. Workshop topics will include: residential heat use and loss, the short term benefits of simple do-it-yourself weatherization, the value of a professional home energy audit, the long term benefits of extensive professional energy retrofits, and the technical and financial resources available to make it happen.

Button Up NH workshops are free and open to the public. We hope you will use this information to help spread the word whenever and however you can.

Special Thanks

We wish to extend our sincere gratitude to those who have helped create the Button Up program and for their willingness to share their knowledge, framework and resources. The Button Up program was originally created as Button Up Vermont in 2008 by Central Vermont Community Action Council with the support of Efficiency Vermont and the Vermont Energy and Climate Action Network, and with funding from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative.  The program was shared with Clean Air-Cool Planet in 2009 with launch support from the Sustainable Energy Resource Group (SERG).  Our regional partner organizations, SERG and the NH Community Action Agencies, have been instrumental in bringing Button Up NH to towns across the state by sharing their skilled presenters/auditors.

OEPlogorecovery

The Button Up, NH 2011-2012 workshops are made possible by a generous grant from the New Hampshire Office of Energy and Planning through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. We greatly appreciate the support of our partners, funders, and collaborators, without which this workshop series would simply not be possible.
